How the treatment estimate is calculated
In-house: £6/m², minimum £120. On site: under 150m² £4/m²; 150–under 300m² £3.60/m²; 300–under 500m² £3.20/m²; 500–under 750m² £2.80/m²; 750–1,050m² £2.40/m²; over 1,050m² £2/m². On-site minimum £350. Rates and minimums exclude VAT. The applicable rate applies to the total treatment area, including lining.

Allow for transport and delivery costs.
On-site treatment
For larger curtains, we come to you anywhere in the UK. Curtains can remain hanging during treatment.

Treatment or inherently FR curtains?
Treatment is usually cheaper than buying inherently fire-retardant curtains, especially for larger curtains or greater quantities. Compare the total costs for your project below.

Your Certificate of Fire Retardant Treatment is issued after completion and payment, recording the treatment completed.

Do you supply the curtains?
No. We don’t sell or supply ready-made fire-retardant curtains. We treat curtains you buy or already own.
Can you treat curtains that are already hanging?
Yes. We can treat curtains on site while they remain hanging.
Can every curtain fabric be treated?
Treatment depends on the face fabric and lining. Plastic blackout linings and other non-absorbent materials are unsuitable. We can discuss your curtains when you contact us.
What should I send for a quotation?
Send the full flat width and drop, lining details and number of individual curtains, along with your location. We’ll send a quote or ask for any missing information.
Do ordinary private domestic curtains need treatment?
This service is for public and commercial spaces; ordinary private domestic curtains do not generally need this treatment.
